In his lament during tough season, prophet Habakkuk said, though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights (Habakkuk 3:17-19. For us who believe, HOPE has a name, that name is Jesus. It is impossible to Endure the RACE SET BEFORE US (Hebrews 12:1-4) if our eyes are not fixed on Hope Himself, JESUS. We have a HOPE SET BEFORE US (Hebrews 6:18), a living hope (1 Peter 1:3) that we affirm and hold tightly to without wavering (Hebrews 10:23-25).
